2k project is the aftermath of learning my addiction, a by-product of an experiment. I took language learning and myself as a guinea-pig to unbound the threads of acquiring a specific skill. I grabbed the most popular language materials and tools and dissected them to see the mechanism, then took my finding with learning in general and compared them to see if the two can add something to each other. They did but I was surprised how current "cutting edge" language programs lacked basic neuro-laws. A lot was missing and I decided to fill these empty wholes to build a simple coherent system. I scratched my own itch.

I questioned everything that others consider basic, compared hundreds of different mnemonics, repetition spacings such geeky tiny details that I'm embarrassed to tell you. I took the result of the empirical experiences and infused to a system. I think it is beautiful and wanted to share it with others.

I tested the prototype of 2k method myself on English, Spanish, German, French, Danish, Dutch and funky Icelandic. It worked flawlessly. But the fact that it worked for me was not enough - I wanted to know if it works for others as well. It did. I gave the toolset to my friends and several language teachers for testing and to clean it from incidental personal biases - e.g. things that work for me but doesn't work for others. They were blown away the simplicity and the effectiveness of it. It is a short, fun mission - students also loved it so I decided to build a public version for all the people around the world.
