ReportCD is a powerful disk cataloging software and also a multimedia cataloging software. ReportCD is designed to help you maintain and organize your disk collection (CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, Hard Drives, Removable Rrives, USB Keys, and all other disks which are recognized by your Windows system), your movie collection (DVDs, DivX,...), your music collection (MP3, audio CDs,...) , your game collection and your software collection. With ReportCD you can have access to the content of any disk you have catalogued without the need to insert disk into the drive and find all necessary files within just a few seconds. ReportCD helps you also to manage your multimedia collection, including movies, music, game & software. Main features Manage disk collection. Manage multimedia collection (movies, music, game & software). Automatic covers download (need a connection to the internet) in a single click. Powerful search. Find files and folders with advanced search options (file size, date limits, descriptions) and locate files in the catalog. User friendly interface with multi-language support. Explorer-like user interface with support of Microsoft Office Themes for menus and toolbar (Office 2000, Office XP, Office 2003 & Visual Studio 2005). Full customizable catalog tree : re-organize disks using 'Drag-n-Drop' & class disks under folders. Support for ZIP, RAR & ACE files. ReportCD recognizes archives in ZIP, RAR & ZIP formats and handles them as folders : you can view the list of files contained in the archive. Files compressed inside archives can be viewed or launched with associated program with one click! Automatic thumbnails and description importing. ReportCD imports thumbnails of a various type of graphical files while media is being scanned (JPG, BMP, TIF, GIF, PNG, WMF, ICO, EXE, MP3 ...) and support file description importing (like MP3 file information). By selecting a file in the catalog, you can easily see a preview of this file and its description. You can also see thumbnails of files contained in a compressed file (i.e in zip files). Plugin architecture. ReportCD is designed to use registered plugins during media scanning. These plugins can be thumbnail plugin, description plugin and archive plugin (for compressed files). You can develop your own plugin to handle additional types and files ReportCD doesn't handle yet at this time. Powerful XML export. Export your catalog, disk or multimedia collection in XML format with optional support of a custom stylesheet in order to display it in your favorite web browser
