SQL Locator is a fast and simple Network scanner that is planned to locate SQL servers in a subnet (or multiple subnets) and then to provide as much information about that SQL server like: version, server name, instance name, active tcp port, name pipe path. SQL locator can then try to brute force and gain access the SQL in question and by that to make sure it is secure enough. a must have tool for any sys admin and any DBA.
